These are some pics I took in the Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar of a giant diorama in the entrance hall of the museum. The buildings are all very detailed and a joy to watch. The website of the museum has links to the presentations and also to the collection. When I was there there was a lot of focus on the unsucessful 1573 siege by the Spanish and the dutch Golden Age.
