Onlangs in het echt een deel van de collectie Breitfuss gezien en -diep onder de indruk- online afbeeldingen gezocht en gevonden.

Het eerste plaatje komt van Frothers Unite, het gaat hier om een commissie opdracht en helaas zullen we waarschijnlijk deze figuren niet op de markt tegenkomen. De overige twee zijn van plastic en net als de meeste figuren van WF gewoon slecht. Je moet ze ook nog in elkaar plakken wat weer tijdrovend is en ze zien er gewoon niet uit.

The frst pic is of a commission for a certain sculptor (to be found at fair prices at FU!UK *) and the other two are the plastic Marlburians by Wargames Factory. I a sorry to say that I don't like them at all, it's a about time they hired some real sculptors to make the masters in stead of relying on CAD/CAM. For crying out loud, check them eyes....horrible...

Pallandt test

Geïnspireerd door dit artikel op het blog én omdat het weekend is, heb ik een grenadier van het regiment Pallandt geschilderd. De uniformkleuren zijn ontleend aan Belaubre, de mini is een aangepaste Britse grenadier van Wargames Foundry. Overigens droeg het hele regiment vanaf 1709 grenadiersmutsen.

Inspired by this article on the blog and because it is weekend, I painted this grenadier of the Pallandt regiment. Uniform colours are provided by Belaubre, the model is a slightly converted British grenadier by Wargames Foundry. All the men in the regiment wore grenadier caps from 1709 on.
