St Denis 1678

Op de website van de Belgisch Beierse Vriendschapsvereniging kwam een boek tegen van mr F.Samsoen uit Mons die een fraai in het frans geschreven boekje heeft geschreven over de slag bij St-Denis. Kost ongeveer 15 euro en is rechtstreeks te bestellen bij meneer Samsoen, mail me voor zijn contactgegevens.

On a website of the Belgian Bavarian Society (!) I found a reference to a booklet written by one of it's members, mr F. Samsoen of Mons, Belgium. For the small amount of 15 euro's I aquired a detailed booklet on the battle, with numerous references to Spanish, French, Belgian and Dutch sources. (Which forces me to do even more research..) Unfortunatly the uniform info is about the year 1688, but I have found new info on period Spanish troops and even the cover picture is intruiging!
