Mooie prent uit een artikel van Jakob Falke, verschenen in de Osterreichische Militarische Zeitschrift, die weer hier op google books is te vinden. Falke legt de link tussen de mode en het uniform en legt de opkomst van de getailleerde justacorps in 1670.

A pretty picture from a military magazine from Austria, which I found on Google Books. It deals with the link between fashion and military dress from the middle ages up to the 19th century. Text is in german. Falke, the writer, introduces the justacorps in France in 1670, but Austrians/Imperialists had them in the 1690's. There's a picture of a dutch nobleman from 1672 (Backhuysen's Reede van Texel) that shows a justacorps as well.
