Mooi schilderij van de Maas Dordrecht, maar heeft iemand een idee wat die blauw/witte vlag is?

Very nice painting of Albert Cuyp of the river Maas, near the town of Dordrecht. dated around 1650 or later (because of the red States' Flag in the top of the mast) but the blue/white flag (in dutch a 'geus') is still unknown. There are no traces of red on the painting. Any ideas?
