Atlas Schoemaker

Twee afbeeldingen uit de Atlas Schoemaker, die ik op de website van de KB vond. Erg leuk als je wilt weten hoe het landschap er eind 17e/begin 18e eeuw er uit zag. De volledige atlas is door MMF produkties op CD uitgebracht, en is in te zien in elke goede bibliotheek.



The two pictures above are taken from the Atlas of Andries Schoemaker (1660-1735), a businessman from Amsterdam with a great interest in maps, history and regional clothing, who ordered several drawings and maps of the Low Countries. I browsed my cd-copy in the local library, but you also can order the cd's at MMF.
